Milwaukie Curb Appeal Update
This couple had decided to down-size and put their home on the market. However, after years of planting "interesting" plants, they realized they had created a fairly personal, very high maintenance landscape. Probably not something for the general home-buyer.
So we worked together to clear it out and clean it up.
Backyard Respite
With a lovely, large, established landscape around their home, these folks wanted a focal point out the back of their deck and some additional seating for outdoor gatherings.

The Oregon Garden
As the Construction Manager for Phase I, Rebecca interacted with a tremendous number of contractors, staff, designers and volunteers.
She still considers many of them as personal and professional friends.
As she hired the charter members of what would be the Horticulture Department, she found an amazing group of hard-working, people-loving, plant-loving professionals that continued to work as The Garden grew and became supervisors and managers.
Blue Star Memorial at Evergreen Aviation Museum
The Museum was given the honor of being a Blue Star Memorial Site. The McMinnville Garden Club wanted to make it a beautiful location and was thrilled to be able to put it at the front entrance to the Spruce Goose. One challenge with the site were the several large utility vaults in the area. So rather than trying to camouflage them, we hid them 'right out in the open'.

Garden Containers
Whether planted with small trees, herbs, seasonal flowers, or left to stand as architectural elements in the garden, these come in every size, shape, style and color. Containers and Garden Art are so important as the finishing touches!

Water Feature
When this family moved in, they noticed the landscape needed some serious updating.
In the backyard, there was an area tucked in the trees, developed to resemble a dry stream bed, complete with a bridge. Wanting the sound of water to block the noise of a nearby highway, that dry stream bed became a serious of waterfalls, plants and a lovely pond.
